# Performance Cards

> Interpret the student dashboard progress percentage, completion totals, average score, and upcoming-work counts.

# Understand performance cards

Dashboard cards summarize data; they do not replace the detailed result for an individual assessment.

* **Overall progress** is the current combined performance indicator.
* **Tests completed** counts completed assessment activity.
* **Average score** summarizes available graded work.
* **Upcoming work** counts future tests and homework.

## When a number looks unexpected

1. Confirm the selected subject.
2. Check whether the assessment has been graded.
3. Check whether results have been published.
4. Open the assessment result for the underlying marks.
5. Ask your teacher when the detailed result and dashboard disagree.

  Recently submitted work may take time to appear while grading or publication is in progress.
