# Performance Insights

> Understand student trends, strengths, weak areas, and question-level patterns without over-reading a single score.

# Use performance insights

Insights can summarize changes over time, strong and weak topics, question-type patterns, consistency, and completion.

## Interpret carefully

* A trend is more reliable when it includes several comparable assessments.
* A weak topic means it deserves attention, not that you cannot learn it.
* A high score can still hide a repeated mistake.
* Compare results taken under similar conditions.
* Use question feedback to explain the chart.

## Make an action plan

Choose one weak concept, review the relevant class material, complete targeted practice, and check the next result for improvement.

Use this simple format:

| Question                | Your note                                         |
| ----------------------- | ------------------------------------------------- |
| What pattern do I see?  | For example, low marks in multi-step algebra.     |
| What may be causing it? | For example, skipping intermediate steps.         |
| What will I do?         | Review one example and complete focused practice. |
| How will I check?       | Compare the next similar question or assessment.  |

## What insights cannot tell you

A chart cannot explain illness, missing work, a misunderstood instruction, or an unreadable upload by itself. Use the underlying questions and your teacher's guidance to interpret unusual results.
