# Duration & Batch Filters

> Scope teacher dashboard data to the correct assigned section and subject before interpreting analytics.

# Filter dashboard data

Choose the section and subject at the top of the dashboard. The cards and analysis panels refresh for that context.

## Avoid common mistakes

* Confirm the section before discussing a student's result.
* Do not compare two sections without noting different assessment histories.
* Treat an empty subject view as “no matching data” until you verify assignments.
* Return to the relevant test or homework for question-level evidence.
