# Progress Reports

> Turn assessment history into a concise, evidence-based learner progress summary.

# Build a progress summary

A useful report includes the period, assessments reviewed, completion, trend, strengths, recurring needs, and agreed next actions.

Keep comments evidence-based. Link a conclusion to specific questions, topics, or repeated patterns, and distinguish observed results from interpretation.

## Suggested structure

1. **Period and scope** — dates, subjects, and assessments included.
2. **Completion** — assigned, submitted, and missing work.
3. **Current evidence** — scores, question patterns, and relevant trends.
4. **Strengths** — specific demonstrated skills or topics.
5. **Needs** — recurring, evidence-backed improvement areas.
6. **Actions** — agreed teaching, practice, or support steps.
7. **Review point** — when progress will be checked again.

Avoid including passwords, unnecessary identifiers, or unrelated personal information. Share reports only with authorized recipients.
