Handle school data safely
Use Chanakya AI information only for approved learning and school administration. Share the smallest amount of information needed for the task.
- User Ids, passwords, and password-reset details.
- Student and Teacher names, roll numbers, contact details, and class assignments.
- Answer sheets, marks, feedback, and individual analysis.
- Student, Teacher, section, and activity-log exports.
- Answer keys and unpublished assessment content.
- Subscription, license, and organization details that are not public.
Passwords and account access
- Never ask another person to send you their password.
- Never include a password in a screenshot, document, or support request.
- Verify the account before resetting access.
- Sign out on a shared device.
- Ask an Administrator for a reset when access cannot be recovered safely.
Screenshots and screen sharing
- Close unrelated tabs and messages.
- Hide names, User Ids, roll numbers, contact details, and answers that are not required.
- Capture only the relevant part of the page.
- Check the image again before sending it.
- Use an approved school or support channel.
Public documentation and training material should use example data or tightly cropped, privacy-safe screenshots.
Downloads and exports
Exports can contain many records even when the current screen shows only a few.
- Download only when you need the file.
- Store it in a school-approved location.
- Share it only with people allowed to see it.
- Keep answer keys away from Student-facing folders.
- Remove unnecessary local copies according to school policy.
Support requests
Include the page, action, status, approximate time, and a short description. Remove passwords, one-time codes, full answer sheets, complete Student or Teacher lists, unrelated contact information, and full activity logs when one relevant entry is enough.
Do not use public chat, social media, or public links to share Student records, answer sheets, exports, or account-access information.
- Stop sharing the file, link, or screen.
- Tell the school’s authorized Administrator or privacy contact.
- Identify what was shared, with whom, and when.
- Reset account access if a password or reset detail was exposed.
- Follow the school’s incident process.
