Manage assigned work

Tests and homework appear in your lists. Each item tells you whether you can start, continue, or review it. Assessment states from upcoming to published, with the action a student should take at each stage.

Typical lifecycle

  1. Upcoming — assigned but not yet available.
  2. Available — ready to start.
  3. In progress — an attempt has started.
  4. Submitted — your final response was recorded.
  5. Grading — your work is being marked or checked.
  6. Published — your teacher has shared the result and feedback.
Names can vary slightly by activity type.

Know the three work areas

Before starting

Check the title, subject, question count, total marks, start time, deadline, and instructions. Make sure your connection is stable and any handwritten work is ready to photograph clearly. Use the Status reference when you are unsure whether to wait, continue, submit, or open a result.
