Use Students and Teachers to search, create, and maintain organization accounts.1
Search first
Search by the provided identifier and name. Confirm that the person does not already have an account.

Check capacity
Review the active subscription before adding a licensed account.

Create or edit
Enter the required identity and academic details, then assign the correct class, section, or teaching context.

Verify access
Confirm the account appears in the list and the intended section membership is correct.
Password resets and removal
Reset a password only for the verified account. Remove an account only when organizational policy permits it and active work no longer depends on it.Student account checklist
- Confirm the student’s unique identifier and name.
- Choose the intended class and section.
- Check for an existing record with a similar identifier.
- Verify licensed student capacity.
- Confirm the account appears in the correct roster.
Teacher account checklist
- Confirm the teacher’s unique identifier and organization.
- Verify licensed teacher capacity.
- Assign the intended sections and subjects.
- Ask the teacher to sign out and back in after assignment changes.
- Confirm that navigation shows only the enabled role features.
Correcting a duplicate
Do not delete either account immediately. First determine which record contains active submissions, grading history, or assignments. Follow your organization’s approved correction process so academic history is not lost.Troubleshooting access

Verify the User Id exactly, check account status, and follow the approved password-reset process. Never ask the user to send you their existing password.

Confirm the role, enabled subscription features, and section or subject assignments. Ask the user to sign out and back in after corrections.

Open the section, add the intended account, save, and recheck the roster. Confirm that you changed the correct organization record.
