Oversee tests and homework

Admins can see school tests and homework. Open Tests or Homework to search by title, class, section, subject, type, or status. Administrator Test filters for class, section, subject, test type, and status. The Test list shows the assessment, class, due date, submissions, status, and available actions. Administrator Test table headings for assessment context, submissions, status, and actions.

Understand the default deleted view

The Admin Test and Homework pages can open with the Deleted status filter selected. Change Status to All Status when you need to review active work. An empty deleted view means no deleted items match your search. It does not mean the school has no homework. Administrator Homework page with Deleted status selected and no matching homework.

Recover or permanently delete

Deleted Tests can expose both Recover and Permanently delete actions. Deleted Test actions for preview, analysis, permanent deletion, and recovery. Decision guide for recovering a deleted assessment or pausing before permanent deletion. Use Recover when the item should return. Before permanent deletion, confirm:
  • The exact assessment.
  • Its owner, class, and subject.
  • Submission count and grading state.
  • Report or record-keeping needs.
  • Permission to remove it permanently.
Permanent deletion cannot be undone. Do not use it just to tidy a list when recovery, filtering, or a status change would solve the problem.

Create homework

When enabled, select New Homework, choose class, section, and subject, set the duration, and upload the required question-key PDF. An answer-key PDF is optional. Upload Homework form with class, section, subject, duration, question key, and optional answer key. Submit once and wait for processing. Reopen the list to confirm the new status.

Instructional ownership

Administrators can check and recover work. Teachers remain responsible for teaching content, marking checks, and sharing results unless your school assigns this differently.
