Publish safely

Content release and result publication are separate decisions. A result becomes visible after submission, grading, teacher review, and publication.

Before assigning work

Confirm the intended sections, availability dates, instructions, questions, answers, and marks.

Before publishing results

  1. Confirm grading is complete.
  2. Review unexpected and borderline scores.
  3. Inspect re-checked submissions.
  4. Verify answer-key or rubric changes.
  5. Open class analysis for outliers.
  6. Publish only when students should be able to see results.

Communicate result availability

Tell students when results are expected and where to find them. If you delay publication for review, distinguish that from a missing submission.

Corrections after publication

If a published result needs correction:
  1. Confirm the affected assessment and learners.
  2. Identify whether the issue is the answer key, rubric, extraction, or an individual mark.
  3. Make the approved correction.
  4. Recheck totals and class analytics.
  5. Communicate the change to affected learners.
Publishing changes what students can see. Coordinate corrections before release whenever possible.
